What’s On Channel 3

SATV’s Public Access, Channel 3 features original, volunteer and professionally produced programming from Salem and other surrounding communities. Featuring a mix of resident-produced and imported programs like Eat My Shorts or The Derby Variety Show, Channel 3 offers programming that is an alternative to your other stations, and it just might be produced by your neighbors. Channel 3 also offers satellite programming from Free Speech TV. FSTV carries Democracy Now!, a daily news program, and many other thought-provoking shows. And when our original or satellite programming is not on the air, residents of Salem can check out what’s happening on our community bulletin board.

What’s On Channel 15

Channel 15 is Salem’s Educational Access channel, featuring educational television from the local to the global level. Through a partnership with the Salem Public Schools, Channel 15 offers programming from Classic Arts Showcase. Channel 15 is your source for Salem School Committee Meetings and any programs that come to us from Salem public or private schools including concerts, performances and special events. SATV’s Channel 15 is also the first place you should look if you’re seeking information about Salem schools, including cancellations, meetings or schedules.

What’s On Channel 22

Channel 22 is Salem’s Government Access. Ch. 22 features political and issue-based programs as well as municipal meetings and local election coverage. Weekly programming highlights include live coverage of Salem city council meetings as well as meetings of the Salem Commission on Disability and series programs such as Salem Now and Inside Salem.

When SATV is not running original programming, you can hear the Salem Police radio over our Community Bulletin Board on Channel 16, The Talking Information Center on Channel 3 and commercial-free music on Channel 15.
